Deputy Prime Minister Attends Opening Ceremony for International Financial Centre Management Training

Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hòa Bình attended the opening ceremony of the IFCR03 training program on financial product design and investment attraction for management personnel of Vietnam’s International Financial Centre, held at Vietnamese-German University. At the event, he emphasized that the development of Vietnam’s International Financial Centre must be built upon core foundations, with human capital playing a decisive role in ensuring effective operations and integration into the global financial market.

The program brought together 35 participants from the International Financial Centres in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, as well as representatives from the State Bank of Vietnam and commercial banks. The course focuses on developing capabilities in designing specialized financial products and strategies to attract international capital flows. It is led by international finance expert Hubertus Vaeth, founder of Frankfurt Main Finance.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister also outlined three strategic directions for Vietnamese-German University in the coming period, including strengthening its international education cooperation model, advancing high-quality training in finance and technology, and pioneering collaboration among academia, industry, and government to support the development of Vietnam’s International Financial Centre.
