          Posted on 07/02/2026

On the afternoon of 15 January 2026, the Vietnam International Financial Centre in Ho Chi Minh City (VIFC-HCMC), in coordination with the University of Finance – Marketing (UFM), held a Cooperation Signing Ceremony and announced the decision to second UFM staff members to work at VIFC-HCMC.

The cooperation focuses on training, scientific research, policy consultancy, and knowledge transfer in the fields of finance and economics. This collaboration aims to strengthen the linkage between academic theory and practical application, thereby supporting the establishment and development of the International Financial Centre in Ho Chi Minh City in line with international standards and best practices.

VIFC-HCMC officially welcomed Associate Professors, leading scholars, and researchers from UFM who have been seconded to the Centre. These experts will serve as a core professional force, contributing to in-depth research, policy advisory activities, and capacity development, as well as directly supporting key programmes and strategic projects of VIFC-HCMC.

This cooperation initiative is expected to expand the academic and research ecosystem, enhance the quality of human resources, and promote innovation. In doing so, it helps strengthen the knowledge foundation essential to the sustainable formation and long-term development of the Vietnam International Financial Centre in Ho Chi Minh City.
